We are excited to welcome to our team GBA’s first Director of Learning Innovation – starting today! Teresa brings a wealth of experience in the education sector, especially in experiential learning, and will help take the Green & Healthy Schools Academy (GHSA) to the next level.
Teresa will focus on strengthening GBA’s relationships with PreK-12 educators and students across the region, fostering innovative projects that provide experiential learning opportunities with real-world sustainability issues. She’ll help design innovative learning experiences for educators and students to complement our existing programs, including enhancing the School Sustainability Culture Program, building upon early work with concepts like the Environmental Health Clinic and Design Thinking Lab, and creating new programs and partnerships.
Previously, Teresa worked with The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, The CREATE Lab at Carnegie Mellon University, The Sprout Fund, Remake Learning Network, and Winchester Thurston School. We are thrilled to add someone of such high regard to our staff, and are confident that Teresa will help GHSA become recognized as a leader in regional and national innovative learning!
