Permeable pavers were introduced to North America in the late 1980’s, yet they are still as a ‘new’ storm water management technique. This presentation will dispel myths and misconceptions providing insight into water cycles, soils, regulations and local codes. It will also address snow removal and maintenance and demonstrate cost benefits associated with permeable pavers. You will come away with a comprehensive understanding of stormwater management with permeable pavements.
