Emerging Professionals Tour and Happy Hour

Register Here

Emerging Professionals (EPs) are the energetic and dynamic leaders of tomorrow’s green building movement.  GBA’s Emerging Professionals Committee enables individuals early in their sustainability careers to be a force for progress within their communities by providing a forum for networking and education. The EP committee is hosting a happy hour and tour of Fulton Commons.

Fulton Commons is a co-working office, kitchen incubator, and artist studio space located in Manchester on Pittsburgh’s North Side. A rehabilitated school building from the 1940’s, the space is designed for low energy use operation, with a significant portion of the original building materials remaining untouched. The space also features a number of repurposed materials including all interior doors and 80% of the total furniture. All new-build is overwhelmingly from natural materials, including white oak flooring from wood grown and milled in Allegheny National Forest and the exclusive use of non-VOC, water-based finishes throughout.

Please note that COVID-19 protocols will be in place at this event, including masks required indoors. Pre-registration is required, and registration will close on November 3.

Admission to this tour is $5 and food and drinks are free of charge for tour participants.

Our EP Committee looks forward to seeing you!
