Building Analyst Training & BPI Testing

Building Analyst Training & BPI Testing is being offered at the CCI Center by the Diagnostic Energy Auditors of Western PA.

Building Performance Institute – Building Analyst – Go beyond a traditional energy audit to perform comprehensive, whole-home assessments, identify problems at the root cause and prescribe and prioritize solutions based on building science.

Topics include: Building Science and “The House as a System” approach, Energy Auditing principles, diagnosing Moisture Issues, IAQ Issues, Fire Hazards, Gas Leakage Detection, CAZ (Combustion Appliance zone) Depressurization, Combustion Safety Testing, CO Testing, DHW Issues, and more.

BPI On-line testing and Field Testing is offered at the close of the class. BPI Certifications are subject to passing both portions of the test.

Course schedule: Feb 6th, 7th, Feb 10th – 12th, 2014 from 8 am to 5 pm. (5 days total, plus field test) The written test will be given Wednesday afternoon, with field testing scheduled shortly after.

Cost will be $1795 total for the class, books and BPI testing fees. Please send your $600 deposit right away, so we can get you signed online & order the book sets. The balance will be due on the first day of class.
