As GBA’s Communications Director, Stephanie is responsible for sharing stories, successes, inspiration, and lessons learned from across the region as they relate to the creation of healthy and high-performing buildings.
Prior to joining GBA, Stephanie worked in local government, serving in the communications offices of Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and County Controller Chelsa Wagner. While there, she implemented communication plans, worked with members of the media, and collaborated with various levels of government, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and volunteers. She continues to develop her skills in marketing, event coordination, media/public relations, creative writing, and website management. Stephanie has been recognized as a dedicated volunteer for various causes, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Heart Association, and Reading is FUNdamental, and hosts an annual dodgeball tournament fundraiser in her hometown to support pediatric programming and children with special needs. She strives to perform work that contributes to a meaningful greater cause and brings that perspective and energy to GBA.
Stephanie holds an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from Point Park University and a B.A. in Communications/Journalism from Shippensburg University.
