U.S. Russian Peer-to-Peer Dialogue Program for Green Buildings

Application for visit to New Orleans for GreenBuild 2014, October 19 – 27, 2014

As part of the U.S. Russian Peer-to Peer Dialogue funded by the U.S. State Department, Green Building Alliance and Green Development Forum of Russia are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for four Russian citizens to attend GreenBuild 2014 in New Orleans in October 2014. The grants will cover round trip airfare from Moscow to New Orleans, seven (7) nights accommodation in an 1850’s historic home, GreenBuild conference tickets, USA visa and meals. We are looking for candidates working in the green/sustainable buildings or communities sector. Please submit the following application before June 30, 2014. For winning applicants there are two conditions of this grant:

1) All participants must complete a 500 -1000 word blog (in English) of their experience. The blog will then be used as part of our reporting to the US State Department (they are providing the overall grant) and it might be used in GBA’s promotional material.

2) All participants must arrange a presentation to share with colleagues in Russia upon return to share details of their experience. This can be done at your place of employment, church, university, etc. Photo documentation is required.
