Program and Resource Coordinator
In her role, Mary supports both GBA’s Green & Healthy Schools Academy and Knowledge Network programs by developing educational materials and organizing resources and information. Additionally, she helps plan and host events and gathers information for GBA’s various publications. Mary is GBA’s 2015-16 PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience) Fellow.
While in college, Mary spent three summers working at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp, where she served as a food service assistant and counselor, and led hikes, kayak trips, and a myriad of additional outdoor activities.
Mary holds a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Bluffton University, where she graduated as a Pi Delta member and Distinguished Scholar in Biblical and Theological Studies. She has studied abroad in Guatemala and Trinidad & Tobago; while in Guatemala, she served at ANADESA, a community development organization and women’s cooperative.
