The Pittsburgh 2030 District is an internationally recognized, locally driven, voluntary initiative that empowers, supports, and inspires business and building owners and managers across four Pittsburgh neighborhoods as they collaboratively work toward 50% reductions in energy use, water consumption, and transportation emissions (below baselines) by the year 2030.
The Pittsburgh 2030 District is pioneering an indoor air quality (IAQ) metric to drive health, comfort, and productivity in buildings, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh’s Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation.
The IAQ Survey is a 26 question, self-reporting tool for 2017 performance.
- Organizations are not required to submit supporting documentation or be in full compliance with the reference standards listed.
- The questions to the survey should be answered based on a plain reading of the question.
- The references are provided to clarify terms and to give property managers suggestions for making improvements to their current procedures, bringing them in line with best practices of third-party rating systems.
As always, all information provided will only be publicly reported in aggregate. Individual responses will remain confidential.
Please provide a response by Thursday, March 15th.
A pdf version of the survey is also available below. If using the pdf version, please fill out, scan, and return to Quinn Zeagler, Program Outreach Specialist at firstname.lastname@example.org.
