Position: Part-Time Business and Environmental Sustainability (BES) Contractor to BNY Mellon for 2016 Year Based in Pittsburgh

The BES team supports business development, climate change management, supply chain responsibility, regulatory requirements, and corporate aspirations in the CSR space, while providing value-add internal and external community engagement.
Preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental sustainability, as well as understanding of supplier diversity and supply chain responsibility, including but not limited to topics of building operations, water, waste and recycling, paper and forestry, CDP, LEED building certifications, GHG Emissions, and renewable energy.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform research expediently and work independently
- Desire to contribute substantially to a global team with a local presence
- Minimal business acumen
- B.A./B.S. required, MBA in progress (or completed) preferred
Candidate has ability to make his or her own schedule. Part time is approximately 30 hours/week. This is a non-benefited position.
