Women+ in Green Book Club Author Discussion: Climate Solutions Relating to Infrastructure and the Built Environment
Please join Green Building Alliance for a year-long Women+ in Green book club featuring discussions led by the author of this year’s book! We will be reading Pathways to our Sustainable Future: A Global Perspective from Pittsburgh, by Patricia DeMarco, PhD. You can purchase a copy of the book here. Patricia will lead us in three book discussions and participants will be have the chance to ask questions, offer their own perspectives, and talk through these topics together.
While each book club discussion was planned to be hosted at the Forest Hills Municipal Building, a net-zero building that Dr. DeMarco helped make possible as a Forest Hills borough council member, all of our events have been transitioned to online until further notice.
Please sign up for each book club discussion that you would like to participate in. You can either sign up for all three, or just select the ones you are most interested in. Discussions are specifically designed with women and femmes in mind.
All registered participants receive a Zoom invitation prior to the meet-up.
This Year’s Book Club Discussion Topics:
April 29: Women’s Role in Preserving Culture
July 8: Climate Solutions Relating to Infrastructure and the Built Environment
September 30: A Just and Equitable Transition into a Green Economy
