Women+ in Green Dinner Discussion
June 23 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Green Building Alliance’s Women+ in Green network fosters a supportive and celebratory community of women and femmes working in sustainability throughout our region. Sharing a meaningful conversation over a meal is one of our favorite ways to build this network of women because we must nourish ourselves in order to sustain the work we all do. Women+ in Green Dinner Discussions are intimate pot-luck style dinners hosted by volunteers who open their homes to other Women+ in Green. Groups are kept relatively small and the dinner hosts also volunteer to facilitate discussion around a certain topic. It is a casual evening and you never know where the conversation will take you or what relationships you will build over the dinner table.
This Women+ in Green Dinner Discussion is hosted by Zinna Scott. Zinna is a board member of Operation Better Block (OBB) and Nine Mile Run Watershed Association (and chairperson of OBB’s Cluster 8 and Cluster 9), host of the monthly Lemington Book Club, the secretary and treasurer of First Friday Pinochle Club, and is very involved in a number of other projects in her community. Zinna will be hosting this dinner at 7800 Susquehanna Street in Homewood. Registered participants will receive an email in advance of the dinner with additional location and parking details, and everyone will be asked to bring a pot-luck item if possible. Join the conversation!
