Improving Your LEED Project Submittal: Tips for Success
September 21, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am EDT
Join 3R Building Sustainability and GBA to learn tips and tricks for successful LEED projects!
Every point is vital to your project achieving the desired level of LEED certification! Learn best practices for the successful submittal of commonly missed and challenging LEED credits with long-time LEED reviewers and consultants, Carla Mitchell and Dr. Christine Kuntz. They have seen it all, having poured through design and construction documents, compliance narratives, and credit documentations of LEED registered projects from around the globe. As reviewers, they help the GBCI determine which credits are awarded to project teams, and they offer feedback to those project teams for how they can achieve credits. Join Green Building Alliance for a morning with Carla and Christine as they explain common pitfalls with various LEED credits, as well as suggestions for successfully achieving credits. This comprehensive look at LEED v2009 credit categories can benefit project teams, consultants, students, and building owners alike! Even better, Carla and Christine will also share a few tips for LEED v4 projects. The information shared in this session will focus on BD+C New Construction Submittals. Coffee and breakfast are included.
