(Living Building Challenge) LBC is one of the newer building certification programs available, and it was designed to extend beyond building certification to be an advocacy tool and philosophy that defines measures of sustainability and works towards end-game positive solutions for the built environment. In Pittsburgh, there are several projects in various stages of pursuing and achieving certification under this rating system. We’re excited to invite you to join GBA at Phipps Conservatory’s Center for Sustainable Landscapes for a chance to hear project updates from some of the LBC project teams in Pittsburgh. While at Phipps, we will also get the chance to tour and learn more about the LBC features of the Center for Sustainable Landscapes!
