Introduction to HVAC Optimization Lunch and Learn

February 17, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Are you an owner or occupant of a commercial building?  Do you often find yourself hot or cold in your space?  This lunch and learn is just for you!  Join GBA and Matt Tyson, from Optimum Energy to gain insight on how to optimize your existing HVAC system.

Register Now

This lunch and learn will focus on the basic principles of HVAC energy optimization.  You will learn first hand how to optimize the energy required to meet HVAC loads through application of user-friendly programming, recognizing that replacing equipment is not always practical or cost-effective.  In addition, optimization techniques will be highlighted for cooling, heating, and airside systems.

  1. Gain insight on how to quantify baseline energy use of HVAC systems—you cannot optimize what you cannot measure.
  2. Learn to consider the system as opposed to focusing on equipment only.
  3. Understand how to develop energy efficiency programs that are real and lasting with hardwired measurement and verification.
