Fireside Chats with GBA (August 5th, August 12th, and August 20th — see registration details below for each date)

August 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm EDT

Our communities are currently facing two crises: COVID-19 and Racism. While these issues have always existed in our society, the virus pandemic has further highlighted our socioeconomic inequities; worsening the conditions and livelihood of front line populations. Join GBA for weekly discussions on how the intersection of these crises + climate change is impacting the health and equity of our most vulnerable neighborhoods at a lopsided rate, with priority given to residents from Hazelwood, Homewood, and the Hill District. Participants will help guide the conversation by discussing their lived experiences amidst and following COVID-19 and continue exploring how these interconnected issues are adversely affecting individuals, families, homes, and communities. Participants will receive a stipend for participating in a full “Community Conversation” session.
