Corporate Responsibility Frameworks 101

Join Green Building Alliance staff for an introduction to corporate social responsibility frameworks and rating systems, specifically relating to measuring equity in the workplace and operations. GBA’s Leslie Montgomery will present on the JUST, GEN, BCorp, and other growing trends in the industry and the role corporate responsibility plays in our sustainable future. We will also hear from International Living Future Institute’s Benson Gabler, Sustainable Pittsburgh’s Gina Johnson, and 3R Sustainability’s Jana Lake for additional information and perspective.

Leslie Montgomery is responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of all of GBA’s education, training, and networking. Leslie also facilitates the Pittsburgh Living Future Collaborative and GBA’s Sustainability Leadership Lab and is an instructor for GBA’s LEED Green Associate and GPRO trainings. She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Systems, a GPRO Operations & Maintenance credential, and a LEED AP for Building Design & Construction.
Jana Lake is the President of 3R Sustainability and Chief Sustainability Officer of SRI Quality System Registrar. Jana helps clients realize the value of sustainability in their organization by defining the right strategy, goals and metrics, combined with the best action plan to achieve them. As CSO for SRI, Jana led the work to become a B Corporation, for which the company was recognized as a Best for the World honoree for its positive impact on its employees. Jana has spent more than 25 years in consulting, several with Accenture leading its global internal change team and aligning its people, processes, and tools to achieve the company’s strategy.
