Calling all K-12 teachers of all grades, subject areas, or experience level:
Whether you are already teaching climate change-related lessons in your classroom or interested in getting started, it is important to have a like-minded community for support. Join us for our Climate Educator Virtual Happy Hour to find climate education opportunities for your classrooms and other passionate educators to join in with!
Katie Modic, Communitopia’s Executive Director, will be sharing upcoming climate change professional development and curriculum creation opportunities available for K-12 educators, as well as Communitopia-facilitated climate change webinars for your classes. Clara Kitongo from Tree Pittsburgh will also discuss the One Child Per Tree program and accompanying curriculum. No matter your experience or commitment level– there is something for you!
