Developed in partnership with the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative, (GHHI), the HHE micro-credential builds upon the BPI Building Analyst (BA), Energy Auditor (EA) or Quality Control Inspector (QCI) certifications to verify competencies required to conduct in-depth healthy home environmental risk assessments. The Healthy Home Evaluator assesses home-based environmental health and safety hazards and provides a prioritized list of recommendations to address those hazards.
The HHE credential is a critical building block and a core principal of building science-based work for home performance contractors and Weatherization Assistance Programs (WAP). The HHE credential establishes a higher level of health and safety knowledge for BA, EA and QCI certified individuals.
