AASHE 2018

October 2 – 5, 2018

Expected to draw over 2,000 participants, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) brings its annual conference back to Pittsburgh.  Providing the largest stage of its type, AASHE shares effective models, policies, research, collaborations, and transformative actions which advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities.


North American Passive House Network Conference & Expo

October 17 – 21, 2018

The North American Passive House Network (NAPHN) works to support regional entities that advocate for the international Passive House Standard in North America. The 2018 conference will be locally hosted by Passive House Western Pennsylvania (PHWPA), and will feature speakers, vendors, and presentations that bring insights into this rigorous and proven building standard.

The IDEA2019110th Annual Conference & Trade Show is still being planned for Pittsburgh, but will be the district energy event of the year! The IDEA conference usually features in-depth workshops on sustainable district heating, cooling, and thermal grids from global industry experts and practitioners, plus 120 exhibitors with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry!
