Vice President of Strategy & Innovation
In his role as Vice President of Strategy & Innovation, Dario Giandomenico brings broad experience throughout his 30-year interdisciplinary, versatile professional career in architectural practice, project management, AEC industry research, business development, R+D planning/supervision, product + service development, and systems innovation. His role involves strategic thinking and analyses and development of transformative plans, projects, and policies across all of GBA’s programs and networks. He also provides technical assistance to a wide range of projects at the product, building, community, and district-scale. Dario works in close collaboration with GBA’s leadership team providing special emphasis on integrating strategy and innovation into all aspects of GBA’s mission.
Dario has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University, an Associate of Applied Science from Columbus State Community College, and a Master of Architecture from Ohio State University. He is a registered architect licensed in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. In addition, Dario is a NCARB certificate holder and Certified Passive House Designer.
