Vice President of Health & Learning
Andrew directs GBA’s health and learning efforts through both the Green & Healthy Schools Academy and GBA-delivered education programming. He promotes pertinent issues and safer school environments for both children and adults. Through the coordination of resources and education programs for schools and school districts, Andrew helps them and their regional stakeholders understand and implement policies and practices designed to improve environmental health.
Before his involvement at GBA, Andrew ran his own sustainability consulting practice through which he advised on local food system infrastructure, new social enterprise development, stormwater and green infrastructure policy, and waste reduction mechanisms. He also previously served as a green building and LEED consultant for evolveEA, where he worked on over 35 projects and delivered more than 20 LEED certifications in a six-year span. Andrew also served on Construction Junction’s board of directors from 2007 to 2013.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University, with a minor in Business Administration.
