Sustainable Communities Director
As Sustainable Communities Director at the Green Building Alliance, Alyssa believes people and neighborhoods function best when they contain economically thriving assets, and business and are referred to as transformational areas capable of successfully producing and retaining inhabitants who are prideful of their living spaces.
In addition to her work at GBA, Alyssa chairs/co-chairs the Licensure and Inspection Review Board and the Invest PGH Review Committee for the City of Pittsburgh and Urban Redevelopment Authority. She holds a board position with the Pittsburgh Chapter of the NAACP and Rebuild Together Pittsburgh. Alyssa was recognized as a WHIRL Magazine fellow of the 2018 class of 20 in their 20’s Making a Difference within the City of Pittsburgh. She was a PUMP’s 40 Under 40 Honoree and the Incline’s Who’s Next in Community Activism, 2019 Pittsburgh Courier Fab 40 Honoree, and a 2019 recipient of the Get Involved! Western PA Rising Star Award, presented and sponsored by Allegheny County Councilman Tom Baker.
