Michael Kuhn, LEED AP

Michael began his employment with Jendoco Construction Corporation working summers as a laborer and today serves as the company’s president.  His primary responsibilities include project management, operations management, business development, technical guidance relative to sustainable and historic projects, and the development and implementation of innovation strategies such as building information modeling and integrated project delivery.

A LEED Accredited Professional since 2002, Michael had a previous stint on the Green Building Alliance Board of Directors from 2003 through 2008.  During that time, he served as a member of the executive committee for five years, as treasurer for three years, and as secretary for two years.  He was a charter member of the Master Builders’ Association – Young Constructors, and served as the chairman of this group’s leadership committee from 2007 through 2009.

Education & Memberships

Michael is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh Class XXVI and currently serves on the City of Pittsburgh’s Contextual Design Advisory Panel, West Pittsburgh Partnership Governance Committee, and Master Builders’ Association Green Builders (Chairman).  He holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
