Mark drives marketing and strategic development at DMI Companies as the business development manager. During his 15-year tenure there, he has worked closely with contractors, engineers, manufacturers, and code officials within both the residential and commercial construction markets. He aims to move the HVAC industry forward towards improved energy efficiency and sustainable construction practices through his efforts serving on a variety of industry-specific boards and committees within organizations such as ASHRAE, SPIDA and HARDI.
While employed at DMI, Mark has been successful at incorporating green building strategies within the business that have contributed to its honor of being named the first Sustainable Manufacturer of the Year by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Keeping with DMI’s vision of building a better world by providing sustainable products and services to the building industry, he has been instrumental in market research for the development of new ventures, which have resulted in the launch of several new products and services designed to assist with the construction and operations of high-performance, sustainable buildings.
Besides being a LEED Accredited Professional, Mark is a certified HERS Rater, and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
