As a principal at BuroHappold Engineering, Jeremy is responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in the design of innovative and sustainable projects. After starting his career at WSP, he joined BuroHappold in 2003, where he has worked on complex large- and small-scale projects around the United States and world. Previously located at the firm’s New York office, Jeremy moved to Pittsburgh in 2013 to finish work on The Tower at PNC Plaza and further grow BuroHappold’s great breadth and depth of projects in the city, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest.
Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University. His industry understanding has enabled him to be a frequent speaker at universities, as well as conferences held by the Mascaro Center for Sustainability; American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; American Institute of Architects; and others.
As part of a group of likeminded, but different and diverse board members, Jeremy enjoys the work GBA does in the built environment, social equity, and education. As an advocate for truly integrated design and construction processes that promote resiliency, maintainability, comfort, and system and occupant efficiency, Jeremy desires to use a holistic approach at GBA to improve our region and way of life.
