Join us for our monthly INSPIRE Speakers Series with national expert Bill Reed of Regenisis, Inc.!
Don’t miss your chance to hear from a founding Board Member of the U.S. Green Building Council! Bill Reed – our national guest for November’s Inspire Speakers Series – will share his extensive knowledge and expertise while explaining the basics of living system principles and regenerative design.
Regenerating ecosystems and the human spirit: A whole systems approach requires the perspectives and ability to work with living wholes in a way that avoids the unintended consequences arising from piecemeal actions. By working with living wholes, practitioners have the opportunity to build the capability and capacity for ecological and human health in each unique place on the planet. This Lunch & Learn will explore the nature and practice of pattern thinking to harmonize - instead of compromising - the interrelationships between human aspirations and the nature of living systems.
Bill has consulted on dozens of LEED certification projects, lectured at places like Harvard University, and is president of Integrative Design Collaborative. Through his work, Bill seeks to improve the overall quality of the physical, social and spiritual life of our living places. Reed’s extensive experience in strategic environmental planning, LEED project consulting, and whole-systems design processes will make for a superb presentation on how you can make real and lasting changes in your school, home, or office. Join GBA’s Green Schools Academy to learn from this internationally recognized speaker. Learn more about Bill Reed.
