GBA is Honored with the FIRST EVER Sustainability Champion Award!
GBA was honored at the Annual Beard Institute Symposium on Sustainability, hosted by Duquesne University. We were delighted to receive the first ever Sustainability Champion Award, which recognizes our commitment to operating a healthy and sustainable workplace, while also educating and motivating others to do the same. According to the award selection committee, GBA was chosen for this award due to our “significant contributions to preserving the local environment while promoting business-friendly sustainable practices.” Many thanks to the Beard Institute and the Center for Green Industries & Sustainable Business Growth for recognizing our work!

GBA heads to GreenBuild!
Senior staff members at Green Building Alliance are headed to San Francisco next week for GreenBuild – the annual international conference and expo of the U.S. Green Building Council.  While there, our staff members (along with some of our board members and other friends) will have access to three days of inspiring speakers, networking opportunities, industry showcases, LEED workshops, and tours of San Francisco’s healthy and high performing buildings.  It should be a productive, fun, and stimulating trip!
